A friend of mine sent me a link to this viral video commercial the other day, and I thought that I would share it with my readers. Here is a funny video of a house that's been seemingly taken over by "the devil", with people praying, a Catholic priest, and a girl floating on the ceiling. So, is the girl really in the midst of a demonic possession, or is all not as it seems?
Dirt Devil-The Exorcist from MrPrice2U on Vimeo.
Spoiler Alert: (if you don't want to find out the secret, watch the video before scrolling down).
Okay, so I had to admit that I had no idea that the "devil" in question in the video was actually the "Dirt Devil" vacuum cleaner. I would have never guessed that the girl was actually getting suctioned to the ceiling of her bedroom because of a vacuum, lol.
So, if you guessed that (and I have no idea how you did) you're apparently smarter than I am. Still, you have to admit that the video is very funny, no?
I actually like it when commercials and advertisements like this one spoof popular movies like The Exorcist (which is obviously the movie which is being spoofed here). It's advertising, to be sure, but it's a much less obnoxious form of advertising than, say, a full page banner ad across some website that kicks you to another website when you try and close it. Viral commercial videos like this one make me laugh and maybe, just maybe, make me want to buy the product in question.
Well, I hope that you enjoyed the video.
