Technology is amazing. Indeed, ever since man first separated from the lower lifeforms via evolution, the desire to understand and manipulate the world through science and engineering has been a defining characteristic of our existence. Even though as a species we clearly have a long way to go before we can even approach something called "intelligence", we have still come an incredible distance.
