Hollywood Hypocrites: Gun Violence and Newtown PSA Mashup
I found a good video that puts Hollywood's "outrage" over gun violence and massacres like the one in Newton Connecticut into perspective. It's a mashup of different Hollywood stars calling for an end to gun violence along with scene from movies where said stars have made millions depicting gun violence.
The video could have been a bit better done, but kudos to the producer all the same.

Pictures of Superheros as Kids
Readers: Check out this cool montage of picture I found with various Hollywood starts who have played superheros in movies over the last few years. The best part is that it's the pictures (supposedly) of when they were children. The heroes involved include Batman, Ironman, Loki, Black Widow, Spiderman, Joker, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Hulk, and Jarvis
I can't attest to whether these really are pictures of the young superheros. But, if the montage is, the coolness factor just went up five times.

The Photoshop Effect
The Photoshop Effect: the retouching of photos systematically by Hollywood. Check out this short documentary on the subject.
I think that people usually don't realize how many of these Hollywood celebrities are actually quite ugly in person. This girl ... she's cute even without Photoshop.

Oscar Worthy Movie
Image via WikipediaAfter watching The Boy in Striped Pajamas, I've decided to make my own “Oscar Worthy” movie. I only need the following five things.
- Actors with a British accent
- Evil Nazis doing evil things
- A boy coming of age
- A father betraying a son's trust
- Dramatic music
If all of those things don't work, I might throw in a random hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold, some drug use, the first sexual experience of a small town girl, and random violence that is really a commentary on privileged, white society. 
Any movie with at least one homosexual character is also a plus (preferably lesbians though since not as many people will pay to see two guys kissing). Also, anything that makes fun of religion or religious people is also gold. I am not religious, but I also call hypocrisy on this when it comes to Hollywood. Hollywood has no problem making money off religious people, just with giving them a positive portrayal in movies.
Lets make a movie :)
