I am of half a mind to think that this is fake. Whenever there is a video essentially coming out of Hollywood where someone gets hurt (but was never in any actual danger), I question whether it's real or not.
In this case, if I had to be, I'd probably take odds that it was real. And, if it was real, it's freaking funny.
Update: After watching the video again, I am inclined to think that it's fake. The girl seems to lean into the fan at the last minute in kind of an obvious way. Also, from experience, getting hit in the head with a ceiling fan is the type of thing that makes a big noise but doesn't really hurt.
I'm calling fake on this one.
Update Two: I checked out the Facebook page and she did indeed get stiches from the whole ordeal. So, I guess this video is for real.
Also, I've been advised that the girl is quite sweet in real life. I hope so. She's hella hot!
