Amazing Magnetic Device!
So, this has to be some of the coolest science that I have seen in a long time. It's a magnetic device that allows you to levitate a small disk above the object using magnetic repulsion. You have to see it to believe it.
From what I understand, the trick works by taking advantage of an unstable equilibrium point in the combined magnetic field that is above the bottom plate. Normally, this would mean that the disk would come crashing down after a while, but the bottom plate further compensates for this by having a feedback loop that controls a number of shim fields embedded in the plate.
Pretty amazing stuff, if you ask me.

82mm Mortar Fail -- From Russia with Love
Have you ever wanted to see someone play with a 82mm Mortar like it's a toy? Well, look no further than this totally cool video that I found on Youtube. From Russia with love, it's some crazy guy playing with an 82mm mortar!
So, I have to ask the same question as when I did another video from this same FPSRussia channel on Youtube before -- where does this guy get all of his toys? I mean, I would love to have half of the cash and connections that he obviously has to get the toys that he seems to get.

Cool Weapon --The 40mm Machine Gun!!!
This video was so cool that I just had to share it with the world. Watch as this guy from Russia, Youtube channel FPSRussia made a video about the 40mm Machine Gun, apparently the largest machine gun that a civilian can legally own.
All I can say after watching this video is: where does this guy get his toys and where do I sign up? I guess that the gun control laws in Russia must be a lot less strict than they are in the United States. There, a guy can buy a 40mm Machine Gun, and probably on the cheap. Here, you make a wrong move and you have Homeland Security on your tail.
It just doesn't seem fair.
