Night Before an Exam: What I Really Do
Here is yet another of the now famous six picture internet memes, this time about the night before an exam. The six categories are: "What my teacher thinks I do", "What my parents think I do", "What society thinks I do", "What my mates think I do", "What I think I do", and "What I actually do".
I have done all and none of those things before an exam.

Professors: What I Really Do
Okay, I lied. I found another cool meme: "Professors, what I really do".
The six categories are: "What my parents think I do", "What my friends think I do", "What my students think I do", "What my spouse thinks I do", "What my colleagues think I do", and "What I actually do".
My favorite -- for selfish reasons -- would be if professors or teachers actually did what their colleagues think that they do. Of course, they don't. :(

Classroom Lecture Fail -- Porn from Previous Night
What is about the worst way as a professor to earn the respect of your class? Accidentally start out a lecture by having a porn site from the previous night of "research" pop up on your computer screen.
In the internet age, people just don't live things like that down.

Honest Grad School Ad
Ever wondered what it would be like to go to grad school after you finish college? Want to know the truth behind the grad school ads? Check out this cool and funny video from College Humor for some insight into what going to grad school is REALLY like.
Okay, as kind of a disclaimer here, I do have to point out that I went to grad school and I loved it. But, I can see their point. Graduate school, especially for something like a Humanities related degree, a lot of times is an excuse to never grow up. Also, with some graduate school degrees, a person is looking at a choice between basically becoming a professor or doing the same type of work that they could do with a Bachelors degree.
Still, the College Humor video is satire, so I don't expect it to be completely accurate.
